Ingredients: 3 Separated egg 1 Cup(s) milk 1 Cup(s) sugar 1 Package(s) Knox plain gelatin 1 Teaspoon(s) vanilla extract 1 Cup(s) cool whip
Directions:
Separate egg yolks and whites. Heat milk to boiling point. Stir well sugar into yolks and add to the hot milk slowly. Have heat low and let simmer one minute. Remove from heat. Add Knox gelatin which has been softened in 1/4 C. cold water. Add vanilla. When mixture has cooled fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Then fold in Cool Whip. Put in chilled graham cracker crumb crust or oreo crumb crust. Chill several hours before serving.
